Can I do a joint investment?

You can absolutely invest with a joint account! Please note that both parties are required to submit AML/KYC verification documents.

Once the live offering has concluded, you have the flexibility to manage your shares. Many companies raising funds on StartEngine opt to use StartEngine Secure as their transfer agent.

If the company uses StartEngine Secure as its transfer agent, we can assist with any share transfers you wish to execute.

In cases where a company does not utilize StartEngine Secure as its transfer agent, please contact them directly for assistance with transferring your shares. The transfer agent's details will be listed on the offering's subscription agreement, accessible at https://investment.startengine.com/account/portfolio.

Please keep in mind that account types cannot be changed once established. If you initially invested as an Individual, Company, or Trust, you can transfer ownership of your shares to a joint account within StartEngine, provided we are the company's transfer agent. To do so, you must create a new account using a different email than your current StartEngine account.
