Is there a checklist of things we should do the day of our launch?
Today is day one of your launch — congratulations! You can and should begin all marketing efforts in full force. Reach out to friends, family, close contacts, and your entire social network to garner initial momentum and investment for your campaign. Please see our Campaign Dashboard Guide for more. Let the Campaign Management team know if you have any questions, and be on the lookout for an email setting up your optional post-launch call to go over the Campaign Dashboard. Please make sure to complete our Onboarding Feedback Survey as well.
Launch day checklist
The moment you go live, you can begin your most aggressive marketing efforts. We recommend focusing on your closest supporters first, then expanding throughout your campaign. Here are some things to have on lock for launch day:
1. Update your email signature to link to your campaign page
2. Post on all personal and company social channels announcing the raise
3. Launch week webinar
4. Begin active marketing
Plan a launch email to send to your community the day you go live.
Call and email all hot leads individually within the first 48 hours of launch.
Pitch press and PR outlets (email, call) with a specific angle — traditional, bloggers, influencers, smaller outlets — with a link to your campaign page.
If you began a Gleam contest before your campaign, immediately change your settings to reward contestants for following you on StartEngine. Email all current contestants and let them know you've unlocked new ways to win on StartEngine.
Post a blog on your company website, LinkedIn, or Medium.
Begin your media buy with a direct link to your campaign page.
