What is a deposit hold?

What is a Deposit Hold?

A deposit hold is 6% of the total funds committed held in escrow for 6 months after your campaign ends. Each time your company disburses on cleared funds, 6% of the cleared funds will be held back in the escrow account.

Why does my company have a deposit hold?

These funds are held in escrow in case of any ACH refunds, credit card chargebacks, or oustanding invoices incurred during the live campaign.

How do I get my deposit hold back?

Your deposit hold is sent back to you 6 months after your campaign ends.

Can I get my deposit back earlier?

If your campaign has raised over $500,000 by the time your campaign ends, we can send 75% of the hold 2 months after your campaign end date. The remaining 25% will be sent back 6 months after your campaign end date.
