What Is the StartEngine Venture Club?

The StartEngine Venture Club (previously Owner's Bonus) is a $275 annual subscription that allows investors to earn a 10% bonus in shares when investing in campaigns that are participating in the bonus program. 

Additionally, you will be given priority on waitlisted investment opportunities, learn about new bonus-eligible launches via email notifications, unlock 48-hour early access to new launches from StartEngine Private, and get a 20% discount on the selling fee on our trading platform, StartEngine Secondary. You will also have access to sell on StartEngine Marketplace.

There is no guarantee that an active market for the securities will develop or be maintained. If you are selling shares, please be aware that it may take some time to liquidate your investment, and should a buyer choose to accept your offer, they may purchase all or some of the shares listed. If you are buying shares please be aware that it may take some time to use these shares as collateral. Users should be aware that investors who are Venture Club members receive exclusive access to StartEngine Private investment opportunities 48 hours in advance of when such opportunities will be made available to non-Venture Club members.  Venture Club members pay an annual membership fee to StartEngine in return for this access and as a result, StartEngine has a conflict of interest in that it has an incentive to favor Venture Club members with investment opportunities.  Venture Club members also are provided with access to StartEngine to dedicated investor support in return for payment of the annual membership fee.  Absent a separate arrangement, non-Venture Club members do not generally have access to the same dedicated investor support.


How does it work?

Once you purchase the Venture Club membership, you will earn a bonus for any shares you purchase in participating campaigns. For example, if you buy 100 shares at $1 per share in a company, you will receive 10 bonus shares, meaning you'll hold 110 shares for $100. Eligible investments are marked with a yellow lightning bolt symbol, located in the Rewards section of their campaign page (see image below).
